Denny's Surgery

Denny has the surgery on his right hand this week. It went really well and seems to be healing well. The doctor has already scheduled the surgery for his left hand. We have not heard if there will be any sort of physical thearpy but hopefully there will be. He had a hard time using only one hand the first day and I kept reminding hom to put his hand up. Luckily I was not home when the bandages came off but he had a interesting time shampooing his hair. Life will get back to normal and then we will have to work with only one hand again.

Catie has wanted to stay home with Daddy and not go to daycare but once she was there she was happy. She will have a hard time once he goes back to work but we will deal with that later.

Planning the 3rd Birthday

So we have found the place, invited the guests-still waiting to hear from some kids-ordered the party favors and decoration hoping they will arrive in time for the party. Catie picked out her Madagascar cake today so we have that ordered. Now its time to relax until the party day right?

Oh man, what is she going to wear? Don't forget the camera and the video camera and hope everyone likes pizza. What kiddo doesn't like pizza and soda?

I hope it all goes smooth. This has been more nerve racking to me than labor and delivery.

Catie's 3rd Birthday is coming

So it has been requested that we have a Madagascar 2 birthday party. All the kids and big people too are going to Odyssey 1 to play in the Jungle Climb and have pizza and cake and all that fun stuff. The big boys birthdays are coming too so they are gonna go and do laser tag after that.

Now I have to find all the Madagascar Party stuff and where the heck can i get the cake? I have been looking for the cake toppers but cant find them on the internet or in stores. This weekend will have me out looking for the cake, I guess.
